If you are a student and have forgotten your password, contact the teacher or parent responsible for your account. Only they can give you a new password. If you sign in through Skolon, Google, Microsoft or Skolfederation, you don’t need a password on Helpful Games.
Teachers and parents: a student has forgotten their password
Student passwords can’t be viewed afterwards, either by you or by us at Helpful Games. Instead, give the student a new one:
- Log in as a teacher or parent.
- Go to Students and click the group the student belongs to.
- Click the student’s name.
- Click New password….
- Choose Create a password for me or Enter my own (4–10 characters).
- Click Change password. The new password is shown only once, so give it to the student right away.
If the student has logged in before, the old password stops working immediately. A new password also lifts any lock caused by too many failed login attempts, and logs the student out of devices where “remember me” was ticked.
If many students have forgotten their details
Use Print login cards on the group page. The students on the printout get new passwords, and their old ones stop working. See Print login cards.
