Instructions to practice place value
Count the number of blue squares in the image. They are divided into hundreds, tens and ones to make it easier for the child to count quickly. Then click on the number that corresponds to your sum of the objects in the image. You can choose from three different suggestions, but only one is correct. After you have passed all levels, you can go ahead and practice place value by entering the number of items yourself. It is more difficult, but it also provides valuable knowledge points. If you find the right amount, you can continue to the next question. You need to answer all ten questions correctly to pass this round. Each completed game level in Place value with base ten blocks gives 1 knowledge points. You can collect a maximum of 12 knowledge points by completing all 12 levels.
In the game Place value with base ten blocks, you can earn a total of 36 medals. Medals are awarded based on how many times you have completed a level:
- Bronze medal: after completing 2 rounds.
- Silver medal: after completing 5 rounds.
- Gold medal: after completing 10 rounds.
Knowledge points are only awarded for levels you have not completed before, meaning those that do not yet have checked green circles. Even after completing a level and earning both knowledge points and medals, you can continue practicing it. However, this will not grant any additional knowledge points or medals.
