This game builds vocabulary for describing people in German, covering both physical appearance (height, hair color and texture, eye color) and personality traits (kind, funny, talkative, and more). Students practice matching English descriptive words and phrases with their German equivalents, moving from single words to full descriptive sentences such as "I am tall and slim" or "She has short, straight hair."

The game works well as a vocabulary introduction before a unit on personal descriptions, as practice ahead of a speaking or writing assignment where students describe themselves or a partner, or as review before a test. Teachers may want to note that German adjectives change endings depending on gender and case in full sentences — this game focuses on core vocabulary in simple sentence patterns to build a foundation before tackling adjective declension.

1. Physical Traits (Multiple Choice)

Multiple Choice - The level consists of 19 multiple choice questions, but a maximum of 10 multiple choice questions are practiced per game round. For each question, the player is given three possible answers, only one of which is correct. It is up to the player to choose the correct option. The student has 3 hearts, giving them another chance at missed multiple choice questions during a game round. Questions have text-to-speech in English. Answers have text-to-speech in German. There is no time limit. When the student has selected all the correct answers, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button labeled Cancel - then the correct answers will be displayed - and try to complete the level again.

Multiple Choice - The level consists of 9 multiple choice questions and all of them are practiced in every game round. For each question, the player is given two or three possible answers, only one of which is correct. It is up to the player to choose the correct option. The student has 3 hearts, giving them another chance at missed multiple choice questions during a game round. Questions have text-to-speech in English. Answers have text-to-speech in German.
