Instructions for Famous dancers
In this game you get to practice to recognize famous dancers. The dancers are considered internationally famous, but not all famous dancers are yet on this list. Some dancers are deceased while others are still alive, so it is mixed in what years they were / are known. If you miss a very well-known international dancer, you are welcome to write a comment with which dancer and why he or she should be included andmaybe we will add that dancer to this dance game.
1. What is the dancer's name? (Picture to name, select one)
Multiple choice - The level consists of 10 questions (all of which have pictures) and all are practiced every game round. For each question, the player is given three possible answers. Only one of these is correct. It is up to the player to choose the correct alternative. The student has 3 hearts (extra lives) that keep the game round going. There is no time limit. When the student has selected all the correct answers, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then the correct answers will be displayed - and then try to complete the level again.2. Match dancers (Name to picture, memory)
Memory - The level consists of 10 pairs (consisting of words paired with pictures) and all are practiced every game round. The student's task is to find two cards that match. If two matching cards are found, they are removed from the board. The game is finished when all 10 pairs of cards have been found and the memory has no cards left. There is no time limit. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then it will show which pairs of cards match - and then try to complete the level again.3. Guess the celebrity dancer (1 guess)
Guess word - The level consists of 10 words, but a maximum of 1 word are practiced per game round. Here the student has to find the word or sentence by suggesting letters from the alphabet. If the suggested letter is in the requested word, the letter is filled in at all the right places in the letter slots. If the letter is not in the word then a heart breaks. If the player can guess the right letters and find the word before all the 1 hearts run out, the round is won. There is no time limit. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then the correct word will be displayed - and then try to complete the level again.4. What is the dancer's name? (Picture to name, write)
Questions with text answers - The level consists of 10 questions (all of which have pictures) and all are practiced every game round. The student has to write the correct answer without color guidance and has 3 attempts to write the correct word or sentence in each question's text field that are not case-sensitive. The student receives feedback on each keystroke to make it easier to type the correct answer. If the entered character is correct, the text turns green and if it's incorrect, the text turns red. There is no time limit. When the student has written all the answers correctly, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then the correct answers will be displayed - and then try to complete the level again.Calculation of knowledge points
Each completed game level gives 1 knowledge point in Famous dancers. The maximum number of points (4 knowledge points) is achieved when you pass all 4 levels. You'll get a bronze medal when you complete a level 2 times and a silver medal after 5 completed rounds. A gold medal will be received after 10 completed rounds. In Famous dancers, the maximum number of collectable gold medals is 4. You only earn knowledge points for levels that has not been cleared before. A cleared level has a green background above. Even when you have completed a level, you can continue practicing at that level, but it gives you no more knowledge points.Additional game information
