Game instructions for keyboard training

Here you may practice typing on the English computer keyboard (including tablet and mobile) with many different game levels for free. Keyboard training is rarely fun, but in these games you will have fun and also practice the correct fingering on the keyboard. The following types of touch typing games are available:

Index fingers: F J

Practice your index fingers by typing groups containing the letters F and J. Both letters appear in every group. If you type wrong, the correct key is shown. This game level is available only at the initial speeds.

Middle fingers: DF JK

Practice your middle fingers by typing groups that always contain D and K, mixed with F and J. If you type wrong, the correct key is shown. This game level is available only at the initial speeds.

Ring fingers: SDF JKL

Practice your ring fingers by typing groups that always contain S and L, mixed with the other home keys. If you type wrong, the correct key is shown. This game level is available only at the initial speeds.

Pinky fingers: ASDF JKL;

Practice your pinky fingers by typing groups that always contain A and ;, mixed with the other home keys. If you type wrong, the correct key is shown. This game level is available only at the initial speeds.

Home keys

Practice groups of the home keys where your fingers rest in the home position. Type the letters as soon as they appear. If you type wrong, the correct key is shown.

Home keys words

Practice words using the home keys where your fingers rest in the home position. Type the words as they appear. If you type wrong, the correct key is shown.

The home row

Practice all the keys on the home row. Type the letters as soon as they appear. If you type wrong, the correct key is shown.

The upper row

Practice words with the keys on the upper row. Write the words as soon as they appear. If you make a mistake, the correct key will be marked.

Home + lower row

Practice words with letters from both the home row and the lower row. Write the words as soon as they appear.

Numbers

Enter the numbers as they come up. When you pass a number, a new will be shown. If wrong key is pressed, the correct digit will be marked.

Type words

Write the everyday words as soon as they arise. When you complete a word, the next one will appear. If you make a mistake, the correct key will be marked below.

Write the sentence as soon as it appears. When you complete a sentence, the next will be revealed.

Keyboard layout

This game is optimized for an English Qwerty keyboard layout. You can play with other keyboard layouts, but the guide, that indicates where the letter is on the keyboard, can be somewhat misleading with a different layout than QWERTY.

Titles

When you complete a round, you will receive a title based on how many keys you typed. These titles are available, with the number of strikes in parentheses:
  • Emperor (350)
  • King (300)
  • Ninja (250)
  • Wizard (200)
  • Magician (130)
  • Expert (80)
  • Apprentice (50)
  • Beginner (20)

Calculation of knowledge points

Each completed game level in Keyboard Typing gives 1 knowledge points. You can collect a maximum of 80 knowledge points by completing all 80 levels.
In the game Keyboard Typing, you can earn a total of 240 medals. Medals are awarded based on how many times you have completed a level:
  • Bronze medal: after completing 2 rounds.
  • Silver medal: after completing 5 rounds.
  • Gold medal: after completing 10 rounds.
Knowledge points are only awarded for levels you have not completed before, meaning those that do not yet have checked green circles. Even after completing a level and earning both knowledge points and medals, you can continue practicing it. However, this will not grant any additional knowledge points or medals.

IDK why they have nonsense words. it's fun in all but they need to add everyday words in the game. i like it because I can type faster now. also I recommend this pacific game because it actually helps you type better unlike the other games.
