The game Color theory RGB

Learn basic color theory and mixing colors. Practice primary colors and what happens when they are mixed.

Instructions for Color theory RGB

In this game you practice on the primary colors and what new colors they will create when mixed. The mixed colors are called secondary colors when they are mixed in equal proportions.

All possible colors can be created by mixing the three primary colors - Red, Green and Blue. The primary colors can be mixed in various proportions to obtain any desired color. When all three are mixed with exactly the same proportion, the resulting color will be white in theory, but it is achieved almost exclusively when mixing lights of the three colors.

Multiple choiceMultiple choice - The level consists of 3 multiple choice questions (2 of which have pictures) and all of them are practiced in every game round. For each question, the player is given three possible answers, only one of which is correct. It is up to the player to choose the correct option. The student has 3 hearts, giving them another chance at missed multiple choice questions during a game round. Questions have text-to-speech in English. Answers have text-to-speech in English. There is no time limit. When the student has selected all the correct answers, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button labeled Cancel - then the correct answers will be displayed - and try to complete the level again.

2. Primary colours (Write)

Questions with text answersQuestions with text answers - The level consists of 6 questions (4 of which have pictures) and all of them are practiced in every game round. The student must enter the correct answer without any hints and has 3 hearts (extra tries) to write the correct word or sentence in each question's text field. Answers are not case-sensitive. If the entered character is correct, the text turns green and if it's incorrect, the text turns red. Questions have text-to-speech in English. There is no time limit. When the student has written all the answers correctly, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button labeled Cancel - then the correct answers will be displayed - and try to complete the level again.

cee: According to RGB these are the primary colours. If you want other primary colours, you may play one of our other color games. Those are based on other primary colors, according to CMYK and Johannes Ittens.
